NIGHT MOVEMENTS RELEASE FREE EP AND NEW VIDEO
The Midlands based Hip Hop/D'n'B collective 'Night Movements' have just put out a brand new EP entitled 'The 8th Circle' available for FREE download. The EP is made up of arguably their darkest work to date and focuses purely on the hip hop side of their music. When I asked Night Movements MC and Producer EXA why they had decided to go for an all out horrorcore record he stated that they “have always been influenced by horrorcore artists such as Gravediggaz, Esham etc. so we used Halloween as an opportunity for us to release an EP focusing on the darker aspects of our music.”
He recognizes that the music may appeal to a more specialised audience but added that because “this style of music has influenced us for years it only made sense for it to happen.”
The crew have decided to make it available for free in order to help build their fanbase and get their names out there in anticipation for their 2014 full length album ‘Modern Day Blues’, humbly letting me know that in this business, as an upcoming act ‘you have to give to receive’.
The EP can be downloaded for free here. Be sure to ‘like’ them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/NightMovements. and check out the brand new video for the ‘Dark Army’ taken from ‘The 8th Circle’ below:
